Y2J Saves The Day: Chris Jericho Donates $5K To Save Kamala’s House

Forgotten Wrestling Legend James Harris (Kamala The Ugandan Giant) has suffered some difficult personal and financial times since leaving the wrestling business due to his health. As a result of his lack of ability to earn an income after becoming a double amputee, Kamala fell behind on his property taxes, and the State of Mississippi was moving in on seizing his property to recoup the past due funds.

Former WWE star Brian Blair set up a Go Fund Me page to help the big fella to raise funding to avoid being evicted, but he was coming up short with the deadline approaching on April 15th.

That’s when Y2J Chris Jericho stepped in with an extremely generous cash donation to cover the remaining gap and ensure that the wrestling legend would get to retain his home.

Meanwhile, Vince McMahon and the WWE brass continue to ignore Kamala’s brillant career, hasn’t given him consideration for the WWE Hall of Fame, while selecting far less-worthy individuals for enshrinement.

Kamala was a headliner in several major WWF promotions, most notably his matches against the Undertaker at Survivor Series and Hulk Hogan at Summerslam. It should also be noted that Kamala bodyslammed Andre the Giant 2 years BEFORE the over-hyped bodyslam by Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania 2.

If you would like to assist the great Kamala, donations are still being accepted on the GoFundme page. The link is below. #BTPSports

The fundraiser goal was $12,750 and he fell short before the April h deadline until Chris Jericho saved the day with a $5,000 donation. Jericho did not tweet about it and has not said a word about it on his podcast but he should be commended for his generosity.
